TELFAST D TABS 10'S is a non-drowsy antihistamine and decongestant medication used to relieve symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and nasal congestion in adults and children 12 years and older.
Description
TELFAST D TABS 10'S contains the active ingredients Fexofenadine Hydrochloride 180mg and Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride 120mg, which provide effective relief from symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis and nasal congestion. It comes in a film-coated tablet form, packaged in 10 tablets per blister.

How to Use:
• Take one tablet once daily, or as directed by your doctor. • Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. • Follow the dosage instructions provided by your doctor or as directed on the label.
Other Information:
The recommended dose of fexofenadine hydrochloride for adults is 180 mg once daily taken before a meal. Fexofenadine hydrochloride is a pharmacologically active metabolite of terfenadine. The efficacy and safety of fexofenadine hydrochloride 180 mg has not been studied in children under 12. Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride is a decongestant that helps relieve nasal congestion.
Side Effects:
Common side effects include tiredness/sleepiness [3]. Uncommon side effects include difficulty sleeping (insomnia), sleeping disorders, bad dreams, nervousness, fast or irregular heart beat, diarrhoea, skin rash and itching, hives, and serious allergic reactions which can cause swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, flushing, chest tightness, and difficulty breathing. Additionally, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride may cause side effects such as anxiety, restlessness, and insomnia.
Storage:
Store this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and blister after EXP. This medicine does not require any special storage conditions.
Disposal:
Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to throw away medicines you no longer use. These measures will help protect the environment.
